Randy Khalid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pendingan's Zein Prakoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randy Khalid in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Hadi Yuwana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soekasade's goalkeeper Bertha Prabowo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maman Djokodamono kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Hadi Yuwana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertha Prabowo having to interfere. Zein Prakoso made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Francis Wibisono sent off a good shot on target. Farid Hutajulu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertha Prabowo having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Farid Hutajulu was the one to do the kick off. Maman Djokodamono's late challenge caught a Pendingan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maman Djokodamono helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Soekasade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maman Djokodamono to maneuver through the defense. Soekasade's Bertha Prabowo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Soekasade from getting a goal against them.
