An unexpectedly hard shot by Teguh Harjo in the 8th minute of play forced Kabonsari FC's goalkeeper Endang Ludianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Semenjana FC's Icang Sukmana got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jamal Samosir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Manaf having to interfere. Cepot Suarlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Manaf having to interfere. The supporters of Semenjana FC booed when Kabonsari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ekayana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andra Razak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Endang Ludianto made a huge save. Endang Ludianto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daffa Sumendap in the 25th minute of the match. Endang Ludianto had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Daffa Sumendap from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Cepot Suarlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Jamal Samosir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jamal Samosir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nana Manaf was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Cepot Suarlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamal Samosir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jamal Samosir to strike the kick off in the second half. Semenjana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jamal Samosir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Cornel Kartiko fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kabonsari FC's protests and gave Cornel Kartiko a yellow card for diving instead. Cornel Kartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Kabonsari FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Kartiko. Andra Razak took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Endang Ludianto. Endang Ludianto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Sunar Susanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamal Samosir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Manaf having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Semenjana FC's zone, Jamal Samosir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nana Manaf came out of the goal and Jamal Samosir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sunar Susanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nana Manaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kabonsari FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
