Galih Wicaksono hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when PSP Kwadoengan's Piet Hamzah in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ariel Danuarta was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Loeroemboen FC through an amazing save. Bima Pandiangan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galih Wicaksono got free with Ariel Danuarta in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PSP Kwadoengan! Sapardi Soebandono shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ariel Danuarta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piet Hamzah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Reza Zamani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loeroemboen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reza Zamani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Loeroemboen FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tukul Arkananta hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Reza Zamani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loeroemboen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reza Zamani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irwan Meringgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reza Zamani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Danuarta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piet Hamzah's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Guntur Asmadirja hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Meiky Rumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loeroemboen FC's Ariel Danuarta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Loeroemboen FC from getting a goal against them. Bima Pandiangan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Danuarta having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Meiky Rumba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irwan Meringgi. PSP Kwadoengan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meiky Rumba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

PSP Kwadoengan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Reza Zamani scored to the left of an out of position Irwan Meringgi, making the score, 0-2. In the 58th minute Galih Wicaksono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Danuarta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galih Wicaksono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piet Hamzah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Danuarta having to interfere. Guntur Asmadirja was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th minute, Guntur Asmadirja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galih Wicaksono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Danuarta having to interfere. Ade Barus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ariel Danuarta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Danuarta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galih Wicaksono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Loeroemboen FC got a freekick which was hit by Marsilam Ie. In the 79th minute, Galih Wicaksono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meiky Rumba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Irwan Meringgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Meiky Rumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, PSP Kwadoengan's Irwan Meringgi got control of the ball when Meiky Rumba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Meiky Rumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loeroemboen FC played a much better game than PSP Kwadoengan and deserved their victory. The PSP Kwadoengan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
