Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Charles Said started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, PSI Mandek's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Said came free, but Eka Purbaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Herman Manurung managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when PSI Mandek's Cornelius Tumena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eka Purbaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogon Rosadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, PSI Mandek's Anwar Cundaya got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Bobby Wijasmara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PSI Mandek's Eka Purbaya didn't even have to move. In the 18th minute, Charles Said left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PSM Montasik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eka Purbaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogon Rosadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PSI Mandek getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anas Pardede hit a great ball. If Gogon Rosadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 30 played minutes PSM Montasik got a freekick which was hit by Roman Sungkawa. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eep Hutasoit managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSI Mandek's supporters rose to their feet, but Eep Hutasoit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Manurung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herman Manurung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelius Tumena in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Charles Said managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSM Montasik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Said was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gogon Rosadi in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eka Purbaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charles Said struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eka Purbaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSM Montasik. The audience was convinced that Eep Hutasoit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Manurung was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eep Hutasoit to make the kick off. When Anas Pardede fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSI Mandek's protests and gave Anas Pardede a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PSM Montasik booed when PSI Mandek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anas Pardede didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogon Rosadi got free with Eka Purbaya in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PSI Mandek booed when PSM Montasik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Sungkawa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PSM Montasik getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Roman Sungkawa hit a great ball. Herman Manurung came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by PSI Mandek's Cornelius Tumena. But to his dismay, Cornelius Tumena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 85thth minute of the game Charles Said who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSI Mandek's Eka Purbaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Eep Hutasoit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Manurung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Manurung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eep Hutasoit, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gogon Rosadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eka Purbaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
