After 2 played minutes PSI Buang got a freekick which was hit by Ida Bagus Sandiaji. Mourent Sahertian struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Tommy Durahman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wardoni. 8 minutes into the game, Tanji Mustaqim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSI Buang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wardoni the free kick. The supporters of Wardoni booed when PSI Buang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanji Mustaqim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanji Mustaqim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sunar Sulthoni's late challenge caught a Wardoni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sunar Sulthoni helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of PSI Buang:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wardoni:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Wardoni. Guruh Irianto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Durahman. 0-1. If Oji Novianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes PSI Buang got a freekick which was hit by Idrus Ariwibowo. If Oji Novianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Haddad Leonard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fahmi Sinurat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haddad Leonard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wardoni's Fahmi Sinurat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haddad Leonard in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Haddad Leonard took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fahmi Sinurat to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Haddad Leonard managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSI Buang's supporters rose to their feet, but Haddad Leonard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fahmi Sinurat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fahmi Sinurat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haddad Leonard in the 61st minute of the match. Fahmi Sinurat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idrus Ariwibowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Markus Gutawa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Yusron Sumadipraja charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yusron Sumadipraja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. PSI Buang's Idrus Ariwibowo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haddad Leonard in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fahmi Sinurat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to PSI Buang getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Idrus Ariwibowo hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Mourent Sahertian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, PSI Buang's goalkeeper Tommy Durahman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oji Novianto. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSI Buang's goalkeeper Tommy Durahman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wardoni defense, Haddad Leonard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fahmi Sinurat. The Wardoni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fahmi Sinurat should have stopped the shot. Idrus Ariwibowo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fahmi Sinurat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wardoni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PSI Buang.
