Ponaryo Pamungkas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Younky Butar-butar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ponaryo Pamungkas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Younky Butar-butar in the 9th minute of play. If David Sephtianda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jarorejo FC's zone, Arya Nurwahid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muchlas Birowo came out of the goal and Arya Nurwahid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Younky Butar-butar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to JFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. David Sephtianda hit a great ball. Zainal Setiana hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Butet Sunandar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ponaryo Pamungkas skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the match, JFC's goal looked a bit too open when Younky Butar-butar came free, but Ponaryo Pamungkas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Sephtianda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jarorejo FC booed when JFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Sephtianda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zainal Setiana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muchlas Birowo having to interfere. If Younky Butar-butar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Younky Butar-butar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ponaryo Pamungkas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coky Cahyadi in the 56th minute of play forced JFC's goalkeeper Ponaryo Pamungkas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arya Nurwahid was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. JFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ponaryo Pamungkas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Younky Butar-butar in the 64th minute of play. Zainal Setiana's late challenge caught a Jarorejo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zainal Setiana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Coky Cahyadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Muchlas Birowo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Sephtianda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 78 minute of play. When Jarorejo FC's Jockie Purba in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JFC's goalie prevented a goal. Coky Cahyadi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ponaryo Pamungkas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarorejo FC. After a rather tough play, JFC's David Sephtianda got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 96 played minutes JFC got a freekick which was hit by Irwan Souisa.
