The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jockie Soesilo in the 4th minute of play forced Poetia FC's goalkeeper Dadang Suheri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Poetia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolf Antono to maneuver through the defense. If Acep Mihardja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, IMUT UNITED's Dadang Suheri threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jockie Soesilo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jockie Soesilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dadang Suheri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolf Antono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acep Mihardja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Dadang Suheri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, IMUT UNITED's Jockie Soesilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dadang Suheri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yanyan Wijaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Iwan Gustav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Poetia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jockie Soesilo came free, but Dadang Suheri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70th play minutes Yanyan Wijaya shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ayat Sahetappy and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 74th minute, Acep Mihardja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poetia FC's Yanyan Wijaya got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Kevin Pakasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poetia FC's goalkeeper Dadang Suheri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of IMUT UNITED booed when Poetia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gendo Sopandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Poetia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
