Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eka Suhastra started the match with the kick off. Ida Bagus Dewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hanung Zulhaji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Ida Bagus Dewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Whistle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ida Bagus Dewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kamal Laturua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Trihatmodjo having to interfere. Ori Romansyah's late challenge caught a Batoetabal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ori Romansyah helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Whistle's Ori Romansyah got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eka Suhastra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batoetabal's supporters rose to their feet, but Eka Suhastra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Trihatmodjo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamal Laturua hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. AC Whistle's Martin Trihatmodjo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamal Laturua in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Batoetabal's goalkeeper Hanung Zulhaji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ida Bagus Dewa. The audience was convinced that Kamal Laturua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Trihatmodjo was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Batoetabal got a freekick which was hit by Haikal Alexander. Hanung Zulhaji made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Endi Tirtayasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Kamal Laturua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Trihatmodjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Whistle getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Endi Tirtayasa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eka Suhastra in the 41st minute of play forced AC Whistle's goalkeeper Martin Trihatmodjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eka Suhastra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Martin Trihatmodjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Nanang Latul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nanang Latul to strike the kick off in the second half. Martin Trihatmodjo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Kamal Laturua sent off a good shot on target. Ida Bagus Dewa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hanung Zulhaji having to interfere. After some careless play in the Batoetabal defense, Nanang Latul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hanung Zulhaji. The Batoetabal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hanung Zulhaji should have stopped the shot. If Kamal Laturua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes in the game, Kamal Laturua fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Martin Trihatmodjo having to interfere. Jonathan Budiono's late challenge caught a Batoetabal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Budiono helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Martin Trihatmodjo, was totally fooled by Batoetabal's M. Andik Siswanto, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Martin Trihatmodjo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eka Suhastra in the 91st minute of play.
