Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Djonggowa's goal looked a bit too open when Ori Romansyah came free, but Ceppy Rumba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Whistle's Martin Trihatmodjo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brama Likumahua in the 7th minute of play. Ceppy Rumba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nanang Latul in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Djonggowa's zone, Nanang Latul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceppy Rumba came out of the goal and Nanang Latul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the AC Whistle defense, Marzuki Adrianto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Trihatmodjo. The AC Whistle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Trihatmodjo should have stopped the shot. Ori Romansyah's late challenge caught a Djonggowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ori Romansyah helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes AC Whistle got a freekick which was hit by Ori Romansyah. Vicky Cahyana, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ceppy Rumba came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Whistle's Ida Bagus Dewa. But to his dismay, Ida Bagus Dewa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Djonggowa fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Djonggowa's Brama Likumahua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nanang Latul made a kick off. Ceppy Rumba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nanang Latul in the 56th minute of the match. Martin Trihatmodjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brama Likumahua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceppy Rumba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ida Bagus Dewa in the 67th minute of the match. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marzuki Adrianto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Martin Trihatmodjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Tirtoprodjo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Brama Likumahua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Trihatmodjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AC Whistle's zone, Marzuki Adrianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Trihatmodjo came out of the goal and Marzuki Adrianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Djonggowa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
