Tumbangnusa's Arsyad Awom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ardian Alfaridzi in the 28th minute of play. Ardian Alfaridzi took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arsyad Awom. Arsyad Awom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Asep Hasyim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanto Sumirat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Rizal Rai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute Asep Hasyim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanto Sumirat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ardian Alfaridzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsyad Awom having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asep Hasyim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yanto Sumirat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
