The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dutamas FC's Icang Sunardi got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Icang Sunardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dutamas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Icang Sunardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toyo Gantina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 played minutes Ac Mandailing got a freekick which was hit by Sigit Prawiranegara. After recieving a nice pass, Dutamas FC's Rizal Zulfan tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dutamas FC's Gogon Korey got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dutamas FC's Icang Sunardi, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Dutamas FC. 34 minutes into the match, Ac Mandailing's goalkeeper Toyo Gantina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogon Korey. Gogon Korey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Toyo Gantina skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stefan Simangunsong's late challenge caught a Ac Mandailing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Simangunsong helped the player get up and apologised. Stefan Simangunsong kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Immanuel Patha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Sunyoto in the 57th minute of the match. If Icang Sunardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toyo Gantina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogon Korey in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogon Korey in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toyo Gantina saved Ac Mandailing from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Dutamas FC's Icang Sunardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toyo Gantina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dutamas FC's Icang Sunardi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fahmi Suarlan during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dutamas FC booed when Ac Mandailing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahmi Suarlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toyo Gantina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogon Korey in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Dutamas FC's Gogon Korey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toyo Gantina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toyo Gantina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogon Korey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Fahmi Suarlan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th match minute, Ac Mandailing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahmi Suarlan to maneuver through the defense. Icang Sunardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
