Fachri Mallarangeng started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Fachri Mallarangeng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cibogo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fachri Mallarangeng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desta Hudaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SILUMAN KOBRA FC's Desta Hudaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fachri Mallarangeng in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, SILUMAN KOBRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Widhie Badranaya came free, but Desta Hudaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Widhie Badranaya came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Cibogo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Widhie Badranaya couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cibogo booed when SILUMAN KOBRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasrul Anggadikusumah didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fachri Mallarangeng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. M. Ridwan Manoppo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SILUMAN KOBRA FC's Firdaus Tarusbawa got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Fachri Mallarangeng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Widhie Badranaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dewa Pakasi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Desta Hudaya. SILUMAN KOBRA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Widhie Badranaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joshua Wiryodiprojo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when M. Ridwan Manoppo sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Firdaus Tarusbawa to make the kick off. M. Ridwan Manoppo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Wiryodiprojo having to interfere. Joshua Wiryodiprojo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Firdaus Tarusbawa's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. M. Ridwan Manoppo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Firdaus Tarusbawa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Widhie Badranaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Desta Hudaya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cibogo's Fachri Mallarangeng in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
