The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Putra Pasirkandel's Emmanuel Kartiko got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Bujang Nahumarury fired a really elegant long shot, but Meggy Lelono threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After having played for 9 minutes, Timmy Hutauruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macchiato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Hutauruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Pasirkandel's zone, Yessie Worabay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meggy Lelono came out of the goal and Yessie Worabay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timmy Hutauruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Hutauruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meggy Lelono having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Oding Witarya made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Macchiato FC's Zaini Pattimura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Oding Witarya in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Timmy Hutauruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fajar Bastari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zaini Pattimura having to make a save. 40 minutes into the game, Saktiawan Sutarya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macchiato FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putra Pasirkandel the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Macchiato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saktiawan Sutarya to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, one of Macchiato FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Macchiato FC. The referee gave Putra Pasirkandel a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by M. Fachrul Apriantara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macchiato FC's Zaini Pattimura. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Oding Witarya made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Putra Pasirkandel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Suhastra to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Putra Pasirkandel getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ace Tarigan hit a great ball. Yessie Worabay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meggy Lelono having to make a save. After having played for 70 minutes, Oding Witarya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putra Pasirkandel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oding Witarya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yanyan Latuconsina's late challenge caught a Macchiato FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yanyan Latuconsina helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Macchiato FC booed when Putra Pasirkandel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanyan Latuconsina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Bujang Nahumarury sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Putra Pasirkandel's Meggy Lelono didn't even have to move. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Macchiato FC! The goalkeeper, Zaini Pattimura, was totally fooled by Putra Pasirkandel's M. Fachrul Apriantara, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fajar Bastari got free with Zaini Pattimura in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Putra Pasirkandel's Oding Witarya got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Suhastra struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Zaini Pattimura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putra Pasirkandel. Yessie Worabay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meggy Lelono having to make a save. After having played for 91 minutes, Timmy Hutauruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macchiato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Hutauruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Putra Pasirkandel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Macchiato FC.
