In the 11th minute, Deni Dharmasakti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Itok Lurahman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Likubala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Itok Lurahman couldn't finish the play. Roman Saptaji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faisal Sophian having to interfere. Enjang Zamani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Wisnu Sulistyono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Likubala's Itok Lurahman pulled a muscle in his leg after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marsilam Makbul hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Prabu Pusaka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faisal Sophian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Aliyuddin Atmadja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faisal Sophian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Saptaji, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Bagol Ramandha might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faisal Sophian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bagol Ramandha ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Kawiang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Saptaji came free, but Faisal Sophian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Deni Dharmasakti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kawiang FC and the Likubala players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Likubala booed when Kawiang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deni Dharmasakti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kawiang FC's goalkeeper Faisal Sophian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Roman Saptaji managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Likubala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Saptaji was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Saptaji to make the kick off. A collision led to Kawiang FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Akri Surianto hit a great ball. Roman Saptaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. When Roman Saptaji, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Faisal Sophian was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nickolous Muntu's late challenge caught a Kawiang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nickolous Muntu helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 63 minutes, Enjang Zamani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enjang Zamani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wisnu Sulistyono having to interfere. Aliyuddin Atmadja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aliyuddin Atmadja took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wisnu Sulistyono. Wisnu Sulistyono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 93 minutes into the match, Likubala's goal looked a bit too open when Aliyuddin Atmadja came free, but Wisnu Sulistyono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kawiang FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
