The supporters of Pijungan booed when PSB Bamojanan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ateng Wijayanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pijungan's Mario Sentanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pijungan from getting a goal against them. Mario Sentanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ateng Wijayanto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The PSB Bamojanan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pijungan were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zein Sastrowardoyo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zein Sastrowardoyo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg M. Agus Rombot saved PSB Bamojanan from getting behind. When Stevanus Nugraha fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pijungan's protests and gave Stevanus Nugraha a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pijungan's Stevanus Nugraha got a free kick in the 61st minute. The referee showed Ujang Sarumpaet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. PSB Bamojanan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zein Sastrowardoyo 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Didiet Badawi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pijungan's supporters rose to their feet, but Didiet Badawi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. M. Agus Rombot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zein Sastrowardoyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Didiet Badawi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. M. Agus Rombot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, PSB Bamojanan's M. Agus Rombot got control of the ball when Didiet Badawi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Zein Sastrowardoyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Pijungan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PSB Bamojanan.
