A hard shot by Soleh Siahaan from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Kris Simatupang's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kosin Hadinata hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sobur Durahman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kris Simatupang having to make a save. Sobur Durahman charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sobur Durahman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Sobur Durahman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris Simatupang was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Yus Kaimu struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kris Simatupang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senorong.
