Yance Romansyah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tino Feryanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luthfi Butar-butar hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Yance Romansyah made a precise shot to the right of Tino Feryanto. Sumberayu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Firdaus Batola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berti Tupamahu having to interfere. In the 18th minute Affan Antoni suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Agan Manusama hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Leysus Rachmana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Putra Soenter's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 26 minutes into the game, Bima Said was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumberayu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putra Soenter the free kick. After 26 played minutes Sumberayu FC got a freekick which was hit by Bima Said. Luthfi Butar-butar charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luthfi Butar-butar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Sumberayu FC got a freekick which was hit by Luthfi Butar-butar. Yance Romansyah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Tino Feryanto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bima Said in the 34th minute of play forced Putra Soenter's goalkeeper Berti Tupamahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sumberayu FC's Indiana Utina got a free kick in the 35th minute. Leysus Rachmana hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Firdaus Batola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tino Feryanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Rachmana in the 47th minute of play. A collision led to Sumberayu FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bima Said hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leysus Rachmana was the one to do the kick off. If Firdaus Batola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firdaus Batola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sumberayu FC's Firdaus Batola got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Putra Soenter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asdi Samosir to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Putra Soenter's goalkeeper Berti Tupamahu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Indiana Utina. In the 73rd minute Leysus Rachmana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tino Feryanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tino Feryanto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leysus Rachmana's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Leysus Rachmana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Putra Soenter's supporters rose to their feet, but Leysus Rachmana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tino Feryanto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sumberayu FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aswin Karo-karo hit a great ball. Arvin Al-Haddad didn't quite understand what happened when in the 91 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sumberayu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Putra Soenter.
