Asmadi Tanujaya started the match with the kick off. If Herry Rumbewas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Tjuramalang's zone, Herry Rumbewas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Indrajit came out of the goal and Herry Rumbewas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jehad Yulianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes PSS Tjuramalang got a freekick which was hit by Samai Ardianto. Jehad Yulianto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herry Rumbewas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 27th minute. PSP Tasese's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a little luck, PSS Tjuramalang's Ivan Indrajit got control of the ball when Jehad Yulianto tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Herry Rumbewas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With an all-out effort, PSP Tasese's Ivan Indrajit threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herry Rumbewas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Herry Rumbewas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Herry Rumbewas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Indrajit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herry Rumbewas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Ishaq Saepudin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSS Tjuramalang and the PSP Tasese players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PSS Tjuramalang getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ishaq Saepudin hit a great ball. Ishaq Saepudin was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of PSP Tasese booed when PSS Tjuramalang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ishaq Saepudin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herry Rumbewas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ivan Indrajit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Indrajit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herry Rumbewas in the 65th minute of play. Herry Rumbewas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herry Rumbewas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ivan Indrajit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mamiek Rotinsulu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hadiman Khalid hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, PSS Tjuramalang's goal looked a bit too open when Herry Rumbewas came free, but Ivan Indrajit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mamiek Rotinsulu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Tino Bayauw when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
