The tension between the PS Nouwsto and the PSM Hungajanaa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PSM Hungajanaa booed when PS Nouwsto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandy Tomagola didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sandy Tomagola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Sunar Hutasoit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PS Nouwsto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, PS Nouwsto's Coky Siregar got a free kick in the 34th minute. Danang Kuswoyo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Boni Wattimury fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PS Nouwsto's protests and gave Boni Wattimury a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PS Nouwsto's Boni Wattimury got a free kick in the 40th minute. PS Nouwsto's Eros Prastika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by April Kusnaeni in the 41st minute of play. Sandy Tomagola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sulis Budiono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sunar Hutasoit to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes PS Nouwsto got a freekick which was hit by Yaya Sudarman. Eros Prastika stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of April Kusnaeni's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Eros Prastika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from April Kusnaeni in the 57th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Deden Sulthoni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sulis Budiono skillfully saved the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when PS Nouwsto's Sunar Hutasoit in the 65th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sulis Budiono was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for PSM Hungajanaa through an amazing save. If April Kusnaeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. April Kusnaeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eros Prastika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sulis Budiono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sunar Hutasoit in the 78th minute of the match. When Amir Khasali came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the PSM Hungajanaa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amir Khasali couldn't finish the play. The supporters of PSM Hungajanaa booed when PS Nouwsto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandy Tomagola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, I Made Priyatno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Nouwsto's supporters crossed their fingers, but I Made Priyatno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. April Kusnaeni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eros Prastika having to interfere.
