After 31 minutes of play, Tablanoesoe's Kurniawan Mihardja made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arul Julianto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roman Sutarya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julianda Aritonang in the 36th minute of play. Andik Tendean hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Ikhsan Kumbara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tablanoesoe's Roman Sutarya. Roman Sutarya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ganjar Aritonang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arul Julianto having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rexy Nugraha made a kick off. If Ganjar Aritonang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Julianda Aritonang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurniawan Mihardja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Patriot FC's Rexy Nugraha tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ganjar Aritonang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Patriot FC's zone, Ganjar Aritonang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arul Julianto came out of the goal and Ganjar Aritonang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rexy Nugraha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ganjar Aritonang in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arul Julianto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Kurniawan Mihardja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tablanoesoe and the Patriot FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kurniawan Mihardja hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Julianda Aritonang was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
