Marwal Kaisiepo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yonas Ballawi in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Bintang Tomagola made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tjimasri's Marwal Kaisiepo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marwal Kaisiepo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yonas Ballawi in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Oyon Sungkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadam Kartiwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yonas Ballawi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marwal Kaisiepo having to interfere. Tjimasri's Marwal Kaisiepo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tjimasri from getting a goal against them. Kamarudin Bramantio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamarudin Bramantio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Tjimasri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamarudin Bramantio to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Trisno Suryolaksono sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tjimasri's Marwal Kaisiepo didn't even have to move. In the 31st minute, Bintang Tomagola made a precise shot to the right of Marwal Kaisiepo. Tjimasri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 41st minute, Aziz Kuswoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bintang Tomagola came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Gejed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bintang Tomagola couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yonas Ballawi was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roy Damara in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sadam Kartiwa saved Gejed from getting behind. If Bintang Tomagola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yonas Ballawi might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marwal Kaisiepo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yonas Ballawi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Rexy Sidabutar made a precise shot to the right of Marwal Kaisiepo. Tjimasri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Tjimasri's Marwal Kaisiepo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bintang Tomagola in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Gejed's Yonas Ballawi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marwal Kaisiepo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oyon Sungkar got free with Sadam Kartiwa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Oyon Sungkar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tjimasri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Tjimasri's Kamarudin Bramantio got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Kamarudin Bramantio off the ground. Kamarudin Bramantio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
