After a rather tough play, Jilatang's Dikdik Gustaman got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 3 minutes, Ipey Budiarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djajaratu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ipey Budiarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Setyo Kusnandar struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Eet Sulistio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djajaratu FC. If Setyo Kusnandar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jilatang's I Nyoman Zamani got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Djajaratu FC got a freekick which was hit by Setyo Kusnandar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jilatang's goalkeeper Eet Sulistio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Jilatang getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dikdik Gustaman hit a great ball. Eet Sulistio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ipey Budiarto in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bulek Prastowo in the 33rd minute of play forced Djajaratu FC's goalkeeper Marcel Sidabutar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Bulek Prastowo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Djajaratu FC's Marcel Sidabutar. Marcel Sidabutar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bulek Prastowo's late challenge caught a Djajaratu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bulek Prastowo helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Jilatang got a freekick which was hit by Bulek Prastowo. After the first half Jilatang were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oji Sulthoni to make the kick off. Haris Kusudiarjo might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eet Sulistio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haris Kusudiarjo ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Oji Sulthoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Sidabutar. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Oji Sulthoni fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bulek Prastowo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oji Sulthoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcel Sidabutar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bulek Prastowo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Marcel Sidabutar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Setyo Kusnandar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eet Sulistio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jilatang's zone, Haris Kusudiarjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eet Sulistio came out of the goal and Haris Kusudiarjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Setyo Kusnandar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eet Sulistio having to interfere. Jilatang's Eet Sulistio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Setyo Kusnandar in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Setyo Kusnandar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oji Sulthoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bulek Prastowo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcel Sidabutar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oji Sulthoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djajaratu FC's Setyo Kusnandar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 95 in the game by Bulek Prastowo from a close distance when the talented Marcel Sidabutar managed to make a qualified save. Djajaratu FC's players were relieved. Bulek Prastowo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Jilatang supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jilatang would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
