Meggy Pritama hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Irfan Simanjuntak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edo Panjaitan. InTeRseNaL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edo Panjaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aban Ariwibowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Bimo Rupawan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ace Rangkuti in the 18th minute of the match. Ridho Mandaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agil Djauhari charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agil Djauhari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Tebatipu FC got a freekick which was hit by Agil Djauhari. After 30 minutes, Aban Ariwibowo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tebatipu FC and the InTeRseNaL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, InTeRseNaL's Ridho Mandaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bimo Rupawan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. InTeRseNaL's Ridho Mandaga got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agil Djauhari was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 36th match minute, Tebatipu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agil Djauhari to maneuver through the defense. Suryo Sembiring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Suryo Sembiring to strike the kick off in the second half.
