Syamsir Zulfan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Edwin Adrianto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KumbangKelana. After 26 minutes, Usep Siagian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waibeem and the KumbangKelana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Usep Siagian hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Waibeem's goalkeeper Edwin Adrianto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edwin Adrianto made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Syamsir Zulfan sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Suseno was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Waibeem's protests and gave Kahar Mulyadi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, one of Waibeem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Waibeem. After having played for 62 minutes, Juliadi Kuncoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KumbangKelana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliadi Kuncoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Butet Cahyadi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Butet Cahyadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Waibeem getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Butet Cahyadi hit a great ball. The supporters of KumbangKelana booed when Waibeem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pance Barenz's late challenge caught a KumbangKelana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chants of Waibeem echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KumbangKelana had held the ball for most of the match.
