Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) PS Matangkoeli's Harry Suhendar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Atep Nurapratama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Yahya Hutabarat fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PS Matangkoeli's protests and gave Yahya Hutabarat a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes PS Matangkoeli got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Hutabarat. Engkos Napitupulu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Sitepu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atep Nurapratama struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Engkos Napitupulu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cilukut FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Suhendar in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iie Bastari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rasyid Prasnanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sahala Pribadi fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cilukut FC's protests and gave Sahala Pribadi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cilukut FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sahala Pribadi hit a great ball. Iie Bastari was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Harry Suhendar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harry Suhendar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Albert Sitepu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Engkos Napitupulu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rasyid Prasnanto managed to get in a good position for a shot. PS Matangkoeli's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasyid Prasnanto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iie Bastari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Engkos Napitupulu was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Albert Sitepu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albert Sitepu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Albert Sitepu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Albert Sitepu came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cilukut FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Sitepu couldn't finish the play. When Cilukut FC's Albert Sitepu in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PS Matangkoeli's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes PS Matangkoeli got a freekick which was hit by Mario Akmal. After having played for 70 minutes, Harry Suhendar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Matangkoeli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Suhendar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iie Bastari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Suhendar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Cilukut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rasyid Prasnanto came free, but Iie Bastari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of PS Matangkoeli booed when Cilukut FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Sulaksana didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasyid Prasnanto in the 83rd minute of play forced Cilukut FC's goalkeeper Iie Bastari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Harry Suhendar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iie Bastari was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cilukut FC's Iie Bastari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Suhendar in the 91st minute of play.
