In the 6th match minute, Senayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dodik Habib to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match, Budiman Yuwana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kamarudin Sutarsa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Senayo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lucky Mahendra hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Duloh Tumena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamarudin Sutarsa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Senayo's Kamarudin Sutarsa got control of the ball when Budiman Yuwana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match, Duloh Tumena tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamarudin Sutarsa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Budiman Yuwana got free with Kamarudin Sutarsa in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Duloh Tumena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kamarudin Sutarsa. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 43rdth minute of the game Panji Bachdim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tegari's Ateng Thamrin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Budiman Yuwana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamarudin Sutarsa having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Duloh Tumena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kamarudin Sutarsa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ateng Thamrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panji Bachdim in the 57th minute of the match. If Duloh Tumena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tegari's Duloh Tumena in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Senayo's goalie prevented a goal. If Kimung Sahetappy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Gendo Budikusuma from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Ateng Thamrin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duloh Tumena in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamarudin Sutarsa saved Senayo from getting behind. Roy Kumbara, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 77th minute, Wahidin Darussalam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gendo Budikusuma tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Kamarudin Sutarsa. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-1 in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Lucky Mahendra had to leave the field with a concussion. Daeng Zumardi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Senayo's Kimung Sahetappy got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Budiman Yuwana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamarudin Sutarsa having to interfere.
