The audience was convinced that Hesky Mantra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randy Rambing was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Seto Budikusuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sibaoek FC. After 49 minutes, Ponirin Effendy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSB Pasirnunuk and the Sibaoek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PSB Pasirnunuk getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ponirin Effendy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imran Saragih in the 51st minute of play forced PSB Pasirnunuk's goalkeeper Seto Budikusuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 59th minute, Maman Tirtayasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Parlin Bahalwan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Randy Rambing. For all the effort they put into the match, the PSB Pasirnunuk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sibaoek FC.
