Tunggak FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Sopian Sutimbul came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Samoeja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sopian Sutimbul couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Tunggak FC's protests and gave Isnan Samiaji a yellow card for diving instead. Lamhot Patha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliadi Silitonga in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Juliadi Silitonga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunggak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juliadi Silitonga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamhot Patha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tunggak FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
