Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when 林响云 sent off a good shot on target. Craig Osborn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes Racing Club Warwick's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by 魏平星 in the 31st minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Racing Club Warwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivor Bensley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Craig Osborn skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when 魏平星 made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Racing Club Warwick getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Curtis Dyson hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 魏平星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Racing Club Warwick's goalkeeper Craig Osborn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. 66 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club Warwick the free kick. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 魏平星 in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 林响云 in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that 魏平星's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute 崔枫枫 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Club Warwick fully deserved thier win.
