Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mahyadi Kartiko started the match with the kick off. Djumantono FC's Albert Kapisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahyadi Kartiko in the 11th minute of play. If Sapardi Mudaffar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sumurwangi defense, Sapardi Mudaffar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurniawan Asmawi. The Sumurwangi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurniawan Asmawi should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Djumantono FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christian Sentanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Sapardi Mudaffar came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Djumantono FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sapardi Mudaffar couldn't finish the play. After 31 played minutes, Djumantono FC's Sapardi Suminta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurniawan Asmawi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Djumantono FC reached it. A collision led to Sumurwangi getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cornelius Yudiawan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sumurwangi's zone, Ramlan Wirahadikusumah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurniawan Asmawi came out of the goal and Ramlan Wirahadikusumah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramlan Wirahadikusumah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurniawan Asmawi having to interfere. Albert Kapisa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Christian Sentanu sent off a good shot on target. Albert Kapisa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahyadi Kartiko in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahyadi Kartiko in the 48th minute of play forced Djumantono FC's goalkeeper Albert Kapisa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Djumantono FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramlan Wirahadikusumah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Kapisa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahyadi Kartiko in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Sumurwangi's goal looked a bit too open when Ramlan Wirahadikusumah came free, but Kurniawan Asmawi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sumurwangi's Kurniawan Asmawi got control of the ball when Sapardi Mudaffar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Sumurwangi got a freekick which was hit by Ijong Kalangi. In the 64th minute, Surya Rangkuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Kartasapoetra lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Hikmat Supit shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumurwangi's goalkeeper Kurniawan Asmawi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th play minute Sapardi Mudaffar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kurniawan Asmawi. 0-2. In the 82nd minute Ramlan Wirahadikusumah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurniawan Asmawi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaka Pinontoan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ramlan Wirahadikusumah struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Kurniawan Asmawi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djumantono FC. 90 minutes into the match, Sumurwangi's goal looked a bit too open when Ramlan Wirahadikusumah came free, but Kurniawan Asmawi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurniawan Asmawi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramlan Wirahadikusumah in the 91st minute of the match. Sapardi Mudaffar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurniawan Asmawi having to interfere. In the 98th minute Christian Sentanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Kapisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djumantono FC played a much better game than Sumurwangi and deserved their victory. The Sumurwangi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
