In the 21st minute Aji Zumarnis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahran Mamahit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Syahlan Ridholhaqqi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tri Sutanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Khoir Piliang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radja Rahwana might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khoir Piliang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radja Rahwana ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 40 minutes, Tri Sutanto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Lion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tri Sutanto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aji Zumarnis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zahran Mamahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seto Kusdianto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Red Lion FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. After 59 minutes, Jamal Piyoh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saroka FC and the Red Lion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saroka FC's Jamal Piyoh got a free kick in the 59th minute. Andik Suarlan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Aji Zumarnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zahran Mamahit having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Saroka FC's Ari Sujatmiko made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zahran Mamahit was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Syahlan Ridholhaqqi got free with Zahran Mamahit in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
