Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harseno Argadinata started the match with the kick off. If Cornel Hutasoit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Tantup's zone, Harseno Argadinata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sansan Prayogo came out of the goal and Harseno Argadinata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Bangun during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Toempang booed when Putra Tantup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Bangun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Putra Tantup's goal looked a bit too open when Harseno Argadinata came free, but Sansan Prayogo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Harseno Argadinata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toempang's supporters rose to their feet, but Harseno Argadinata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sansan Prayogo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Putra Tantup got a freekick which was hit by Edo Manuputty. In the 34th minute of the match Toempang got a corner. Putra Tantup's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Markus Iskandar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Toempang's Ramlan Bachtiar to fire away a dangerous shot which Sansan Prayogo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, Toempang's Sansan Prayogo threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harseno Argadinata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Toempang were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Putra Tantup's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Markus Iskandar took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Hutasoit in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sopian Oktavianus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sopian Oktavianus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Bangun in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willy Bangun to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Toempang's zone, Willy Bangun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sopian Oktavianus came out of the goal and Willy Bangun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Eman Sarumpaet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornel Hutasoit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sansan Prayogo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harseno Argadinata went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eman Sarumpaet kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Edo Manuputty kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Toempang were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Putra Tantup's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Markus Iskandar took the corner. Sansan Prayogo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Entis Anggakusuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cornel Hutasoit struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sopian Oktavianus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putra Tantup. Toempang's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
