Otong Mursadat started the match with the kick off. Yustedjo Hutauruk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otong Mursadat, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 17th match minute, Tjiagra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamhot Fachrudin to maneuver through the defense. Zahran Siregar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yustedjo Hutauruk having to interfere. If Zahran Siregar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot by Sadam Wijaya from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Deni Solossa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 40th minute, Lamhot Fachrudin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tjiagra FC booed when GUSLIEF FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gendo Badranaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aples Winar's late challenge caught a Tjiagra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aples Winar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GUSLIEF FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aples Winar hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamhot Fachrudin made a kick off. Zahran Siregar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ramang Sugandi fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tjiagra FC's protests and gave Ramang Sugandi a yellow card for diving instead. Otong Mursadat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes, Okta Rumangkit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tjiagra FC and the GUSLIEF FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Okta Rumangkit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Zahran Siregar managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUSLIEF FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahran Siregar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yustedjo Hutauruk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Zahran Siregar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. GUSLIEF FC's Aples Winar got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Aples Winar off the ground. Zahran Siregar scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yustedjo Hutauruk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. M. Fachrul Mewar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. M. Fachrul Mewar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atep Sungkono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. M. Fachrul Mewar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lamhot Fachrudin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Deni Solossa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
