Rusli Lantang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joko Basri, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, PS Ketoan's goal looked a bit too open when Joko Basri came free, but Rusli Lantang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Ikin Dewantara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PS Ketoan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSM Onete the free kick. Tino Zayyinulhak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Rusli Lantang skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 12 minutes into the game, Fadhil Kuswandi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gogon Irama was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Fadhil Kuswandi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 28th match minute, PS Ketoan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anan Siahaan to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Joko Basri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusli Lantang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PS Ketoan's Rusli Lantang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joko Basri in the 41st minute of play. When Fadhil Kuswandi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the PS Ketoan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fadhil Kuswandi couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joko Basri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PS Ketoan's goalkeeper Rusli Lantang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fadhil Kuswandi might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gogon Irama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fadhil Kuswandi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, PS Ketoan's Ikin Dewantara got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Hisar Sahuleka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PSM Onete's Gogon Irama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save PSM Onete from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Joko Basri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Fadhil Kuswandi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Ketoan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadhil Kuswandi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Joko Basri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rusli Lantang. PS Ketoan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joko Basri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Joko Basri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute of the match Adnan Supriono sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogon Irama skillfully saved the ball. PSM Onete's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
