The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raden Pakunagara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ojat Wanisar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djaduk Wenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aliyuddin Nerre hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Alwi Amrizal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without M. Fachrul Krishna having to make a save. Eka Burnama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PSS Kombot booed when Meokri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alwi Amrizal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raden Pakunagara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ojat Wanisar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. M. Fachrul Krishna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alwi Amrizal in the 46th minute of play.

In the 65th minute, Eka Burnama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raden Pakunagara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ojat Wanisar in the 71st minute of play. M. Fachrul Krishna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eka Burnama, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute Alwi Amrizal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but M. Fachrul Krishna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Meokri's Alwi Amrizal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Icang Yulianto charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Icang Yulianto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PSS Kombot walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
