Ari Woof hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sungaiudang FC's zone, Ponaryo Manuputty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adang Harjo came out of the goal and Ponaryo Manuputty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ponaryo Manuputty who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Adang Harjo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Luthfi Tecuari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Sungaiudang FC's goalkeeper Adang Harjo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ponaryo Manuputty. Sentot Hermansyah hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Luthfi Tecuari struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Adang Harjo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerdug. Ponaryo Manuputty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Adang Harjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gerdug's zone, Prabu Kusdianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mandra Pangkali came out of the goal and Prabu Kusdianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luthfi Tecuari in the 27th minute of play forced Sungaiudang FC's goalkeeper Adang Harjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thoyib Fatahillah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thoyib Fatahillah scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mandra Pangkali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thoyib Fatahillah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mandra Pangkali was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thoyib Fatahillah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. With a little luck, Gerdug's Mandra Pangkali got control of the ball when Prabu Kusdianto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The goalkeeper, Mandra Pangkali, was totally fooled by Sungaiudang FC's Husein Pradnyana, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sungaiudang FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
