Kamarudin Suryana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Nurdin Sulaksana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Guruh Rangkuti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Putra Posolik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Radjasa to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Putra Posolik defense, May Asmara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Irawan. The Putra Posolik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Irawan should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Putra Posolik getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. May Asmara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Ariel Irawan when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
