In the 5th minute Slamet Cahyadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utte Salampessy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Wayamli FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Uston Matulessy hit a great ball. Wayamli FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Slamet Cahyadi scored to the left of an out of position Utte Salampessy, making the score, 1-0. Slamet Cahyadi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Utte Salampessy having to make a save. May Asmara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Utte Salampessy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Utte Salampessy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slamet Cahyadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. May Asmara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slamet Cahyadi struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when May Asmara got free with Utte Salampessy in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yance Argadinata in the 46th minute of play forced Lombangin's goalkeeper Nurdin Sulaksana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lombangin's goalkeeper Nurdin Sulaksana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Nicolas Sihite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wayamli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Sihite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yance Argadinata was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nurdin Sulaksana made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nicolas Sihite sent off a good shot on target. Wayamli FC's Yance Argadinata got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wayamli FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lombangin.
