Nico Rumaropen hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Emil Puang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Odoy Subarkah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odoy Subarkah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dharma Gibran in the 13th minute of play. Diding Lantang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faisal Badranaya's late challenge caught a Longpadi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faisal Badranaya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Putra Rembug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faisal Badranaya to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Diding Lantang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Longpadi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Diding Lantang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makbul Sidabutar having to interfere. Erwin Sialagan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makbul Sidabutar having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Diding Lantang notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Putra Rembug's Makbul Sidabutar. Makbul Sidabutar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dharma Gibran made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diding Lantang in the 56th minute of play forced Putra Rembug's goalkeeper Makbul Sidabutar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Puang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odoy Subarkah having to interfere. Odoy Subarkah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dharma Gibran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Makbul Sidabutar came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Longpadi FC's Diding Lantang. But to his dismay, Diding Lantang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Putra Rembug's Roni Purwanto got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Arvin Fuadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makbul Sidabutar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Rumaropen struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Makbul Sidabutar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longpadi FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Diding Lantang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longpadi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diding Lantang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makbul Sidabutar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Dharma Gibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odoy Subarkah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Putra Rembug's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Puang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odoy Subarkah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Longpadi FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
