After having played for 2 minutes, Wendy Karepouan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nongkosawit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wendy Karepouan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nongkosawit's Wendy Karepouan in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jamil Batubara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wendy Karepouan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Nongkosawit's May Limbong made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamil Batubara was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Nongkosawit's zone, Dodo Asshidiq stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Obar Ramandha came out of the goal and Dodo Asshidiq tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Wendy Karepouan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamil Batubara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. May Limbong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kemal Chaniago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Obar Ramandha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dodo Asshidiq's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Obar Ramandha firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dodo Asshidiq got free with Obar Ramandha in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Obar Ramandha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemal Chaniago in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wendy Karepouan to make the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Nongkosawit's Wendy Karepouan in the 56th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jamil Batubara was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pakedjen FC through an amazing save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dodo Asshidiq managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pakedjen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dodo Asshidiq was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Obar Ramandha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Kemal Chaniago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Obar Ramandha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pakedjen FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anas Panjaitan hit a great ball. Kemal Chaniago struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Obar Ramandha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pakedjen FC. If Kemal Chaniago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendy Karepouan in the 70th minute of play forced Pakedjen FC's goalkeeper Jamil Batubara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. May Limbong scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamil Batubara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
