Ikin Fachrurozi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, PSB Cerenang's goal looked a bit too open when Doyok Djokodamono came free, but Prabu Hardjasoemantri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bayu Sidabutar got free with Septian Muchtaji in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pendissa booed when PSB Cerenang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. I Nyoman Simanungkalit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doyok Djokodamono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prabu Hardjasoemantri having to interfere. A collision led to PSB Cerenang getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Yonas Trihatmodjo hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Doyok Djokodamono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendissa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doyok Djokodamono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Koko Anhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koko Anhar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Prabu Hardjasoemantri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Koko Anhar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prabu Hardjasoemantri having to interfere. With a little luck, Pendissa's Septian Muchtaji got control of the ball when Bayu Sidabutar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Suryolaksono hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doyok Djokodamono was the one to do the kick off. Bayu Sidabutar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Septian Muchtaji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ikin Fachrurozi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koko Anhar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Prabu Hardjasoemantri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, PSB Cerenang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musa Likumahua to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes PSB Cerenang's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Budi Tirtajaya who took care of the corner kick. 78 minutes into the match, PSB Cerenang's goal looked a bit too open when Doyok Djokodamono came free, but Prabu Hardjasoemantri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yonas Trihatmodjo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Doyok Djokodamono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prabu Hardjasoemantri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Pendissa's Koko Anhar got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pendissa's Septian Muchtaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ikin Fachrurozi in the 93rd minute of play. Koko Anhar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Prabu Hardjasoemantri made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
