Purnomo Arwana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agus Mursadat in the 12th minute of play. Handoko Giroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nyllaly Tanzier having to interfere. If Khalis Saputra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PS Djapura's Handoko Giroth got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nyllaly Tanzier came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by PS Djapura's Khalis Saputra. But to his dismay, Khalis Saputra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Agus Mursadat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Purnomo Arwana was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Purnomo Arwana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanafi Sinaga in the 35th minute of play. If Agus Mursadat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Hanafi Sinaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Purnomo Arwana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Purnomo Arwana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agus Mursadat in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Hanafi Sinaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajibarang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hanafi Sinaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Purnomo Arwana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Purnomo Arwana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agus Mursadat, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Handoko Giroth made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Handoko Giroth made a precise shot to the right of Nyllaly Tanzier. Ajibarang FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Agus Mursadat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Purnomo Arwana having to interfere. Handoko Giroth struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nyllaly Tanzier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Djapura. If Khalis Saputra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PS Djapura's Purnomo Arwana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agus Mursadat in the 74th minute of play. Agus Mursadat was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Ajibarang FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 92 minutes into the match, Ajibarang FC's Agus Mursadat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Purnomo Arwana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Ajibarang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Kili-kili to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ajibarang FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PS Djapura.
