In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puokenda FC's goalkeeper Stevanus Pohan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stevanus Pohan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bintang Mewar in the 9th minute of play. Andri Irawan charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andri Irawan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Puokenda FC's Andri Irawan got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Sateng FC's Daus Osmond broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute, Yudho Pangalila made a precise shot to the right of I Ketut Haddad. Sateng FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. I Ketut Haddad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yudho Pangalila went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Stevanus Pohan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Kawilarang in the 30th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Ebieth Sutimbul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sateng FC's I Ketut Haddad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Puokenda FC's Andri Irawan got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Andri Irawan off the ground. After a rather tough play, Puokenda FC's Andri Irawan got a free kick in the 41st minute. Stevanus Pohan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bintang Mewar in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bintang Mewar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stevanus Pohan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Kawilarang in the 53rd minute of the match. Stevanus Pohan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bintang Mewar's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Felix Kawilarang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sateng FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sateng FC's Felix Kawilarang got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bintang Mewar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Puokenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Patar Sujatmiko. Ebieth Sutimbul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without I Ketut Haddad having to interfere. Ebieth Sutimbul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. I Ketut Haddad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sateng FC's zone, Ebieth Sutimbul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. I Ketut Haddad came out of the goal and Ebieth Sutimbul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bintang Mewar in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stevanus Pohan saved Puokenda FC from getting behind. The Puokenda FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Puokenda FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
