Jaka Simbolon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uus Simanungkalit in the 6th minute of the match. Uus Simanungkalit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jaka Simbolon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, PSM Boegoeba's Arthur Kaunang threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gery Mahendra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. PSS Bonobogoe's Raka Fatah got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Darso Harahap fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSS Bonobogoe's protests and gave Darso Harahap a yellow card for diving instead. Darso Harahap hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Aliyuddin Ramandha came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the PSM Boegoeba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aliyuddin Ramandha couldn't finish the play. A collision led to PSM Boegoeba getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aliyuddin Ramandha hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, PSM Boegoeba's Sentot Rumba got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Raka Fatah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaka Simbolon was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Uus Simanungkalit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaka Simbolon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Uus Simanungkalit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gery Mahendra was the one to do the kick off. Arthur Kaunang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aliyuddin Ramandha, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute Raka Fatah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaka Simbolon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaka Simbolon came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by PSS Bonobogoe's Uus Simanungkalit. But to his dismay, Uus Simanungkalit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sentot Rumba kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Raka Fatah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaka Simbolon having to interfere. Gery Mahendra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arthur Kaunang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaka Simbolon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachman Ardisuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gery Mahendra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The PSS Bonobogoe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PSS Bonobogoe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
