The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. M. Andik Mamahit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Andik Mamahit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Batupulu from getting a goal against them. When PSM Fwiloro's M. The supporters of Batupulu booed when PSM Fwiloro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rexy Harahap didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Fwiloro's zone, Tino Kuswanto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Kaban came out of the goal and Tino Kuswanto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PSM Fwiloro's Rexy Harahap got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Rexy Harahap off the ground. The supporters of Batupulu booed when PSM Fwiloro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rexy Harahap didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Adit Muntu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batupulu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSM Fwiloro the free kick. Paijo Abidin might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over M. Andik Mamahit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paijo Abidin ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 31 minutes, M. Fachrul Arsah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSM Fwiloro's supporters crossed their fingers, but M. Fachrul Arsah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ibnu Irwansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Kaban having to interfere. Paijo Abidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, PSM Fwiloro's M. Fachrul Arsah got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes of play, Batupulu's Arbud Lisandri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Kaban was left in no man's land by his defense there! The PSM Fwiloro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Batupulu were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paijo Abidin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tino Kuswanto came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Batupulu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tino Kuswanto couldn't finish the play. When Raden Sitepu fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSM Fwiloro's protests and gave Raden Sitepu a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes PSM Fwiloro got a freekick which was hit by Raden Sitepu. Paijo Abidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tino Kuswanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arbud Lisandri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Kaban having to interfere. Paijo Abidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. M. Andik Mamahit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tino Kuswanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Kaban having to interfere. PSM Fwiloro's Julian Kaban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save PSM Fwiloro from getting a goal against them. If Paijo Abidin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Batupulu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
