Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Batupulu's Tino Kuswanto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Adityo Himawan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batupulu's M. Andik Mamahit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 3 played minutes Batupulu got a freekick which was hit by Husin Solossa. When Cepot Pesolima fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batupulu's protests and gave Cepot Pesolima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Batupulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cepot Pesolima to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Arbud Lisandri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batupulu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arbud Lisandri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tino Kuswanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Khusnul Ekayana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arbud Lisandri in the 19th minute of play forced Sonan's goalkeeper Khusnul Ekayana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tino Kuswanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khusnul Ekayana having to interfere. Arbud Lisandri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Khusnul Ekayana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farhan Djakasuria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without M. Andik Mamahit having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Adityo Himawan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of M. Andik Mamahit. Adityo Himawan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Farhan Djakasuria might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over M. Andik Mamahit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Farhan Djakasuria ran back to his position shaking his head. Husin Solossa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Khusnul Ekayana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sonan booed when Batupulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cepot Pesolima didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Khusnul Ekayana was a little too slow when Arbud Lisandri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tino Kuswanto in the 61st minute of play forced Sonan's goalkeeper Khusnul Ekayana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adityo Himawan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibnu Irwansyah's late challenge caught a Sonan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ibnu Irwansyah helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Batupulu's Ibnu Irwansyah got a free kick in the 80th minute. M. Andik Mamahit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adityo Himawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Sonan's goalkeeper Khusnul Ekayana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arbud Lisandri. If Tino Kuswanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
