The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avanti Khalid charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avanti Khalid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Pilangsari FC got a freekick which was hit by Avanti Khalid. Thanks to some nice moves Sondang Waskito could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Nyllaly Abidin however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, one of PSB Pakejen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Krisna Sandiaji placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Sansan Sudarsono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Icut Rumbiak fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilangsari FC's protests and gave Icut Rumbiak a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the match, Sansan Sudarsono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yance Noya. Pilangsari FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sansan Sudarsono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Pilangsari FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Krisna Sandiaji hit a great ball. Sansan Sudarsono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Yance Noya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahdiyat Nugroho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Sondang Waskito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nyllaly Abidin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nadjib Herawan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sadam Sahetappy to make the kick off. Pilangsari FC's Yance Noya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pilangsari FC from getting a goal against them. After 53 played minutes PSB Pakejen got a freekick which was hit by Herry Purwanto. Sadam Sahetappy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sadam Sahetappy might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nyllaly Abidin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sadam Sahetappy ran back to his position shaking his head. Nyllaly Abidin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sadam Sahetappy's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Nadjib Herawan might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yance Noya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nadjib Herawan ran back to his position shaking his head. PSB Pakejen's Nyllaly Abidin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sondang Waskito in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, PSB Pakejen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darwin Perdana to maneuver through the defense. Cucu Yudhistira charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cucu Yudhistira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cucu Yudhistira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Sadam Sahetappy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nyllaly Abidin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadam Sahetappy, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Pilangsari FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PSB Pakejen's performance. The match ended with a win for PSB Pakejen.
