Dawung's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oesiriamata the free kick. Oesiriamata's Hesky Marasabessy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dawung. Sondang Laksono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Munawar Pamungkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sondang Laksono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benyamin Nadeak in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Munawar Pamungkas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dawung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Munawar Pamungkas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dawung's Benyamin Nadeak got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Dawung's goal looked a bit too open when Aam Sumardi came free, but Pance Pakpahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benyamin Nadeak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play Dawung's Dudung Kundang was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dudung Kundang kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Munawar Pamungkas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dawung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Munawar Pamungkas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aam Sumardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Munawar Pamungkas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Munawar Pamungkas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Oman Said came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Oesiriamata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oman Said couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Munawar Pamungkas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sondang Laksono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Munawar Pamungkas in the 56th minute. Munawar Pamungkas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pance Pakpahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aam Sumardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sentot Amrizal struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pance Pakpahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oesiriamata. In the 69th minute Aam Sumardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pance Pakpahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benyamin Nadeak came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Dawung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benyamin Nadeak couldn't finish the play. Oman Said fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pance Pakpahan having to interfere. Munawar Pamungkas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Sondang Laksono skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sondang Laksono made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Munawar Pamungkas sent off a good shot on target. Sentot Amrizal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Munawar Pamungkas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
