With 3 minutes on the clock, May Hardianto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 8th match minute, Tjilisung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andra Gozali to maneuver through the defense. Endang Saptaji kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Iie Krishna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tukul Rambing. Tjilisung's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karel Makariem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Sulistianto in the 14th minute of the match. If Bagus Zubir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wisnu Gurning fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lilingi FC's protests and gave Wisnu Gurning a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Lilingi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wisnu Gurning to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lilingi FC's Karel Makariem got control of the ball when Bagus Zubir tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Adnan Sulistianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adnan Sulistianto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Karel Makariem made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wisnu Gurning made a kick off. Karel Makariem came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tjilisung's Adnan Sulistianto. But to his dismay, Adnan Sulistianto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Karel Makariem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Sulistianto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dodik Waworuntu charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dodik Waworuntu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute of the match Endang Saptaji shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karel Makariem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Tjilisung's Bagus Zubir in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lilingi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wisnu Gurning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tukul Rambing having to interfere. In the 79th minute Adnan Sulistianto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karel Makariem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Lilingi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adnan Sulistianto came free, but Karel Makariem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karel Makariem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bagus Zubir went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Wisnu Gurning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tukul Rambing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adnan Sulistianto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Makariem having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tjilisung fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lilingi FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
