The supporters of Lubukraman FC booed when Tjilisung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andra Gozali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Chaniago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tukul Rambing having to interfere. Tukul Rambing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Chaniago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Chaniago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. M. Fachrul Sutikno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Sulistianto in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Rio Chaniago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ireng Ginanjar came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tukul Rambing could save by the left post. Rio Chaniago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tukul Rambing having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lubukraman FC's Tukul Rambing threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rio Chaniago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the match, Lubukraman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adnan Sulistianto came free, but M. Fachrul Sutikno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rio Chaniago made the kick off in the second half. M. Fachrul Sutikno made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Adnan Sulistianto sent off a good shot on target. M. Endang Saptaji was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Lubukraman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik Giro to maneuver through the defense. If Rio Chaniago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
